Bring on the silent electric car!! So many pedestrians appear incapable of or unwilling to heed the safeguards in place to warn them of road dangers. Red men are ignored, dinging trams and tooting cars get insulting gestures and abuse, and pedestrian crossings apparently exist to allow people to cross whenever the hell they like. If you're a pedestrian, unless a car is breaking the law, you can't get run over on the road UNLESS YOU'RE ON THE ROAD. I think the prospect of being taken out by a silent, environmentally sound vehicle could serve as a timely reminder to pedestrians to WATCH OUT! Can you tell that I spend more time driving than walking?
